Venue Information
Wiener Stadthalle is Austria's largest arena for shows and sports events. The arena in Hall D of the multi-purpose building complex, opened in 1958, has a capacity of up to 16,000 persons. The list of stars who have appeared here is like the "Who's Who" of international sports, culture and entertainment. Hall E, a multi-purpose hall with a capacity of 2,000 persons, rounds off the range of venues. Halls A and B as well as Hall C, the ice-rink, are available for training purposes as well as events open to the public. The Stadthallenbad indoor pool, the two smaller halls as well as the ice-rink make it a whole complex providing a complete range of leisure-time sports facilities. As from early 2006, an attractive addition is available at the Vienna
Stadthalle: a new hall with show stage for a maximum audience of 2,036, a new box-office and information building, and an appealing catering area. For artists and technicians alike, the possibilities for ensuring an optimum performance are endless.
